The subject of the exhibition is a sculpture made of polystyrene foam. Dimensions: 600x210x220 cm suspended in the middle of the gallery. The interior is completely darkened and the lamps emit a dark blue (ultramarine) color of light. The interior is rather dark despite lighting. Two smoke generators used during the show, produce smoke and together with navy blue color tinting white Styrofoam, dematerializing effectively the space of the gallery.
The sculpture consists of three elements connected with each other. The first, most voluminous, resembles a rock complex with numerous canyons carved out. The middle part resembles a human ear arranged horizontally, while the third element resembles a high rock with a hole in the middle. Both elements with similar proportions symbolize fragments of nature; the human ear, as a relatively late product of organic evolution, can “listen and tune in” to the rock formation as a much older manifestation of the evolution of matter on earth.
